The information in this post is from [THIS] 2020 thread on coltforum.com. The list is compiled from OP's post (which appears to have been originally from Colt Fever) and replies in the Colt Forum thread.

We have edited it for a webpage and added a number of photos for reference, but the content is otherwise unchanged.

We are aggregating this information here because useful things on gun forums seem to disappear from the internet right when you wish you could go back and find them, so it's sometimes nice to have them in more than one place.

D Frame – Long (before 1966)
